74th INDEPENDENCE DAY
VOCAL FOR LOCAL
On the occasion of the 74th Independence day of India i.e. 15th Aug 2020, an event was organized by the MIG (Marketing Interest Group) as a part of business communication. I took this opportunity to spread awareness about the Rooftop Solar Panels as I belong to Rajasthan, a state abundant in solar energy resources.
India is the world's third-largest producer and consumer of electricity in the world. Approximately, 55% of India's electricity needs are met by coal. This releases Carbon Dioxide and other greenhouse gases into the environment. With the increase in awareness for Ozone depletion and the harmful effects of greenhouse gases, every country is pushing itself towards Renewables sources of energy production. Here, Solar energy provides a great opportunity to make India an environmentally friendly country and set a worldwide example.
To help our country achieve such a remarkable goal, every citizen of India must make a collective effort in this direction. Installing Rooftop Solar Panels will not only help the prior cause but also has individual benefits at the same time. The solar panels usually have a life of approximately 35 years and help in reducing the electricity bills. the breakeven of the cost incurred in installing them can be achieved in somewhere around 5-6 years. this also aligns with the governments Make in India initiative as these panels are made in India by many local Indian firms.
I would like to share the poster made by me to raise this campaign of making people aware about this cause, sighting benefits of the same.
Thank you for paying a visit to my blog, please comment and let me what you feel about it.
